What is The Colony of Caprica?

Setting:

Our Twelve Colonies.

Our time line begins during the events that precede the First Cylon War, and the unification of the Twelve Colonies. The Creation of Artificial intelligence has created a mechanical race of beings Name after the Technology that created them, The Cybernetic Life-form Node. The Cylons, as they came to be known, were created to help their creators as tireless workers. What was created was a slave race....

Soon The robotic slaves began to grow angry with their human creators and soon the seeds of rebellion were planted. Nurtured by the Humans intolerance and cruel nature, the Cylons rebellion would come sooner rather than later. Life on Caprica, as well as all the Colonies of Man would be changed forever.

Under the Flag of liberation and a newly adopted belief in a single all knowing God the Cylons refused the commands of their creators and began to wage war on the humans that had created them. This caused the first of many bloody battles where the men and women of the Caprican military gave their lives to push the battle lines off world. In doing so, the unknowing Caprican Military unleashed the Cylons on the other colonies of man, further damaging Caprica's political relationships with the other colonies.

The Creation and development of the Cylons had lead a coalition of Colonies to combat the threat that has arisen from the Cylon Rebellion on their Creators. The Coalition of Colonies include The Colonies of Caprica, Scorpia, Picon, and Leonis.

While the Coalition of Colonies begins to combat the Cylon threat, the Remaining Colonies are either under direct attack or unwilling to fight the Cylons. Colonies such as Tauron, Gemenon, and Canceron see the Cylon threat as Caprica's problem, due to the fact that the Cylons were created by famed Caprican Scientist Daniel Graystone, and refuse to join the coalition of Colonies. These Colonies have banned together to protect themselves and have turned a blind eye to the Caprican-led coalition, secretly preparing for war with the Machines.

The Colonies of Virgon, Saggitaron, Libran, Aerilon, and Aquaria are under attack or are under threat of attack by the Cylons, and are requesting aide from their allies. With the lives of billions of Civilians threatened by Cylon invasion, the Coalition is forced to wage a war that is spread out across the entire star system. With limited space craft capable of waging war in the vastness of space, and with rumors of Cylon Military Space craft being seen on the battlefield, some of the Coalitions brightest scientists and engineers began working on a solution.

After pooling most of its resources together the Coalition of colonies began construction of a weapon that could help end the Cylons rebellion, a Battlestar....

It is said that the Coalition of colonies could lead to the union of all the colonies of man, but some see this as a far off dream of idealists and naive college students; while others see this as an attempt by the Caprican government to seize control over all the colonies and destroy the Independence of individual colonies. But with the ever growing Cylon threat and a system wide war growing closer to the home worlds of billions, some say that the unification of the colonies of man is the only way to fight the mechanical enemy.

We Find ourselves in a world that leads the armed forces of four of the most powerful colonies, in a war against a relentless mechanical enemy. In a world of social distress and political turmoil, a world were independent states must unite to fight a common enemy. Will you help stop the Cylon Rebellion and fight for the Colonies of the Coalition? Or will you protest the war and the unification of the Colonies? How will you live in the Worlds of the Twelve Colonies threatened by a heartless enemy?

This is Colony of Caprica....

Caprica City

Caprica city has become a hotbed of anti Cylon and anti Technology protests and the city is on the brink of chaos. Civilians flood the streets to speak out against the unification of the twelve colonies while young men and women are drafted into a newly created coalition military. The posh society of the high class Capricans now faces the same problems as the rest of the Caprican population.

With the Ongoing threat from the terrorist organization, The Soldiers of The One escalating at an unnerving rate the Government is pressed for solutions. Now with a heighten Threat level The Global defense department as enacted a state of Martial law in the Streets of Caprica City, while the other districts of Caprica remain safe from terrorists but are endangered by a more frightening threat.

Located just north of Caprica City was once the pride of Caprica's booming robotic and industrial sectors, but now are under the control of the Man made monsters, the Cylons. Soon after their deployment into the Civilian and Military sectors the Race of Artificially Intelligent Machines soon rebelled against their masters. This rebellion resulted in not only the crash of the Caprican Economy but the loss of numerous civilians and Industrial workers that were in contact with the Cylons. But worse of all was the attack on the orbital habitat "Brenik" that resulted in over a hundred thousand civilian deaths and over 5 million Cubits in damages to Caprica City and Delphi City. The Cylon attacks on Caprican ship yards and construction facilities lead to the first of many military actions to stop the Cylon rebellion, but all operations were soon stalemated as the Cylon and Caprican forces were equally matched.

Soon the Government of Caprica reached out for help and soon the Coalition of Colonies was created. The Coalition is made up of the combined forces of the Colonies of Picon, Scorpia, Caprica, and Leonis, and together the mixed military in now attempting to combat the Cylon threat directly.
