Continued Fighting in the Industrial Zone
Scorpia to help Caprica fight the Cylons

The Caprican Military is said to continue its fight against the Cylons located 12 Kilometers North of Caprica City, now with the Aide of the famed Scorpia's 101st Ground Division. The Marines are to aide in the retaking of Key Construction facilities as well as fortifying Caprica's Cities, Including Delphi, Aurora, and Caprica City.

The Call for Aide was answered by the Newly accepted Coalition member, The Colony of Scorpia. While becoming the first off world Military to fight along side the Caprican Army, Scorpia's Marines are no strangers to war. Training all 15 Months of the Year (Scorpia has a longer orbit than Caprica) in the hot and humid conditions of Scorpia's vast Jungles has given their Marines an extra advantage in extreme conditions, as well as proving them to be as tough as leather.

The Famed 101st Ground Division lead by Major General Dwight E. Reyn, a Veteran of Both Scorpia's Civil Wars as well as an Anti Terrorist Expert. General Reyn was the First Military Commander to pen the Anti Insurgency guide book for Scorpia's Military, and since then has helped clear out all STO cells on his Home world. When asked for an interview by our editor the General Declined, but his Senior Aide was able to provide us with a brief statement.

"The Caprican Military as extended their hand to the Government of Scorpia, promising to help unify the Colonies Military as well as funding to help train Caprican Army fighters in Scorpia's Tactics. The Caprican government is sincere in its quest to help unify all Colonies, and is well on their way to getting the full support of the remaining Interdependent colonies. With Scorpia's Marines, it should only be a matter of time before the Cylon threat is Neutralized, the people pf Caprica will be able to rest easy knowing that we are here to help..."

There is no set date for the Attack on Caprica's Industrial zone, but with the amount of Cylon forces and the amount of Key Targets in the area it is unclear on how long the fighting may take place. Marines are now beginning to report to their stations around Caprica as the Command staff plans their course of action. Citizens are urged to stay as far away from the Industrial Zone, and are to report any sightings of the U-87 Prototypes or Cylon warriors in their areas. The public safety and Military police offices at Orion Military base are now taking reports on all Cylon Sightings, and have set up a hot line for further reports on Cylon locations.
